Here are a list of frequently asked questions that can save you time.

If enabled, Got Ya can confirm the time and place a photo was taken. This helps keep accountability honest—but don’t worry, your location is only visible to people in your private group.

Yes. We use industry-standard encryption to keep your data safe. Your posts, profile, and information are only visible based on the privacy settings you choose.

We’re serious about keeping the Got Ya community safe and positive. Tap the three dots on any post to report it. Our moderation team will review it quickly.

First, make sure you’re using the latest version of Got Ya from the App Store or Google Play. Try closing and reopening the app. If the issue continues, delete and reinstall the app. Still stuck? Email us at support@gotyaapp.com with your phone type and what happened.

Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. You’ll be asked to confirm before anything is removed. Keep in mind this deletes all your data and posts.
